BCSCL Board of Directors

Karen Scriven, BCSCL would like to extend their gratitude to Karen and her dedication that she has offered the Society over the last 9 years. Karen has decided to retire from her volunteer position but continues to be a dedicated support and volunteer of the Society. THANKS KAREN!

Adam Coulthard,  BCSCL would like to extend their gratitude to Adam Coulthard who has offered his dedicated volunteer services to the Society over the past 5 years. Adam decided to retire from his position on the board of directors but continues to offer his services at fundraising events.

Elizabeth Hudson, At the 2009 AGM Liz agreed to allow her name to stand and Liz has committed to continue to offer her services to the Society in the go forward, Thanks Liz!

Liz joined the board of directors in 1990. Liz has offered her dedication and volunteer time over the last 19 years in many positions on the board, including president, past president, secretary, and vice president. Liz is the parent of an adult with a developmental disability who currently recieves services through the Society. Liz offers the board a view that is a critical part of our oraginization, a parent! Liz moved to Canada in 1989 from England where she lived with her daughter and husband, and fulfilled a position with the Royal Air Force (RAF). Liz has operated her own business in Canmore since 1989 called "Buzy Lizzies" which offeres contracted cleaning services to several business and private members of the community. Liz has several years of management level employment. To contact Liz: Email: lhudson@bcscl.com Phone: (403) 932-3699. 

Diane Cuts,  At the 2009 AGM Diane agreed to allow her name to stand and Diane has committed to continue to offer her volunteer services to the Society in the go forward, Thanks Diane! 

Diane joined the board  in July 2008. Diane and her husband moved to Canmore from central Alberta in 2005 as her husband is a school teacher. Diane is the mother of two children, one of which has a developmental disability who lives on a farm close to Olds. Diane was the founder of The Autism Society in central Alberta. She has offered her volunteer time to several boards over her years, including The Alberta Association for Community Living, WET Association and Lacombe Action Group. Diane is a Nurse by profession and continues to fulfill a part time employment position at the Canmore Hospital. Diane and her husband Don have been connected with the BCSCL for a few years now by was of volunteer support at some of the Societies events and a conference held in Canmore facilitated by The Alberta Association for Community Living. At the 2009 AGM Richard Craig, Edie d'Arcy and Stacey Coulthard agreed to support The BCSCL Board of Directors as the newest members of the 2009 - 2010 Board of Directors!

Specific positions for the Board of Directors will be determined at the next board meeting which will be held at 7:00pm on September 10, 2009 in Canmore, Alberta.
