The BCSCL 4th Annual Christmas Craft and Bake Sale: 

November 14, 2008 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm

   November 15, 2008 10:00 am - 4:30 pm 

                       The Creekside Inn, 600 9th Street Canmore, Alberta.

Volunteers are a vital necessity in order to host this fundraiser. Event set up and take down, kitchen support, bake sale table are amoung the several positions where support is required. The Society is looking for a community member who may have interest in leading The Board of Director's Annual Christmas Craft and Bake Sale Committee.

Are you interested in being a Crafter at our fundraiser?    3 foot tables: $40.00 in total for both dates.

                                                                                                                     6 foot tables: $80.00 in total for both dates.

Special Olympics Bowling hosted by The Fairmont Banff Springs Bowling Alley, Canmore Chapter.

The BCSCL would like to extend an open invitation to any community member, 18 years of age and older who lives with a disability and their caregiver as required: Come out and join us at our weekly SO Bowling evening in Banff, Alberta. Currently there are four volunteers and 15 individuals who participate in this weekly event. The start time is 5:00 pm and the evening consists of two games ending about 7:00 pm.  

The upcoming 2008 - 2009 SO Bowling year will offer in and out of town tournments to all participants and team uniforms pending a donation through The Calgary Five Pin Bowling Association!  For further information please contact Edie d'Arcy at (403) 679-8340.  

The BCSCL 5th Annual Christmas Open House will be held at #209 703 8th Street, Canmore, Alberta on December 19, 2008, 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm. This event is open to all BCSCL members, including board members, clients, parents/ families, guardians, employees, subcontractors, and all members of the community, stakeholders, business members, volunteers, and staff family members. 

Santa has offered to visit and will have gifts for all who come and join us. Light refreshments will be offered!
